Mammals are animals that give birth to live young.They have hair or fur.

See a Giraffe being BORN!!!!!

This is a mammal called a giraffe. Can anyone tell me more about a giraffe?

 

Some people say MAMMALS ARE COOL!  they are WRONG because they are WARM BLOODED!

 

 

we are mammals and so are horses,donkeys and elephants

 

  nearly all mammals are born live and suckle their young ( suckle means to feed your  young milk from mammary glands  )  

 

Some Mammals LAY EGGS!!!! BUT NOT MANY. Go to the page on the PLATYPUS

A Platapus is the ONLY mammal to lay eggs. All Mammals are vertabrates. 

 

 This is a Platapus.

 

A BAT is also a MAMMAL even though many people think that they are birds!!!

THEY ARE NOT BIRDS BECAUSE THEY SUCKLE THEIR YOUNG AND DO NOT LAY EGGS

who ever said a platapus NOT BIRDS BECAUSE THEY SUCKLE THEIR YOUNG AND DO NOT LAY EGGS they are wrong because they do lay eggs.
